Greetings all!
I’ve been developing a project for Storyland 4 with Gavin FitzGerald for past year or so. Gavin has come out with a great script – Friendly Highs – a comedy centered around two lovable idiots, Martin and Monk who begin selling a lethal but legal drug, ‘Gurns’, unbeknownst to them in a local newsagent of the very ironic title – ‘The Friendly Store’. The product ‘Gurns’ not only does what it says on the tin but also induces terrible spurts of rage in the individual who dares to try it. As the drama begins to escalate at the shop, the owner, a very evil but comical man, McDermott, cashes in on the inhumane product and the local drug dealer, Sharon, the tattooed lady with a fierce ball-breaking attitude, fights to claim back her ‘clientele’.
