I have been collaborating with filmmaker, Gavin FitzGerald and Ciarán Gray, director of Company B on a dance film project since this time last year on a dance film project.
Company B is a youth contemporary dance company for boys, a group who take class and rehearse weekly at Dance House on Foley Street, Dublin 3. Last year we were awarded the 2013 Youth Ensembles Scheme grant by the Arts Council to make a dance film. We put together a short video as part of the application outlining our idea, which can be viewed below:
The film is now finished and is currently making the rounds at dance and film festivals in Ireland and abroad. Have a look at the trailer below and don’t forget to ‘like’ School Rush on Facebook.
