I’ll be heading down to Killarney for Oireachtas na Samhna tomorrow. I won’t be competing in Steip but I will be cheering on Tura, a very talented dancer from Zimbabwe, who will be taking to the stage at An tOireachtas for the first time. Tura is competing as part of a TG4 documentary called Turas Tura which will be aired in the New Year. I have a small appearance at the end of the documentray where I show Tura a few steps, not that there was much to teach him!
I also just heard that I’ll be performing with the Rubberbandits themselves on Friday night, pink tracksuit and all! Here’s a link to ‘I Wanna Fight Your Father (As Gaeilge)’ There I am on the right!
